How Our Display Lighting Began
One of S.T. Lighting’s signature product lines grew from the need for a better way to illuminate Gridwall and Slatwall displays.
Traditional display lighting could be difficult to reposition, expensive to wire and inconvenient for temporary installations. S.T. Lighting developed a system that could be attached, removed and adjusted quickly while providing focused illumination exactly where it was needed.
The system was designed for retail stores, trade-show booths, exhibits and other display environments where layouts often change.

The Story Behind Our Linen Drum Shade Light Kit
The S.T. Lighting Linen Drum Shade Ceiling Fan Light Kit began as a custom design solution.
An interior designer was looking for a more attractive alternative to the traditional three-globe cluster commonly found on ceiling fans. S.T. Lighting created a linen drum shade light kit that gave the fan a cleaner, more finished appearance while remaining practical to install.
The finished room received attention in a major New York publication, helping introduce the concept to a wider audience.
What began as a custom solution grew into one of S.T. Lighting’s most recognizable residential product lines.
Today, linen drum shade kits are available in multiple colors and are designed to give compatible ceiling fans a more polished, contemporary appearance without requiring a complete fan replacement.
